| Description | This course will cover the business side of health care. You will discuss current trends in North American pharmacies, wellness centres and health food stores. The course examines how and why complementary therapies are increasing the health care repertoire of healing modalities. At the end of the course, you will prepare an independent study project as a member of a group. You and your group may choose to create a teaching tool, write a newsletter, or prepare a business plan or program that relates to naturopathic medicine. The flexible course format allows you to present creatively all that you have learned. Prerequisites: NATU-400, 401, 402, 403, 404, 405 |
