Description | This hands-on course is ideal for the service technician who has successfully completed Automotive Air Conditioning 1 and wishes to learn about repairing all makes and models of vehicles. Topics include instruction on refrigeration principles, heat transfer, drive units, evaporators and related components, pressure clutch drives, condensors, compressor overhaul, automotive temperature control equipment, testing for leaks, purging, evacuating and recharging. Prerequisites: CEAM-900 and CECR-801 or equivalent experience as determined by the department Note: Safety boots and safety goggles must be worn in the lab areas. You will be denied access to labs if you are dressed inappropriately. |
