Description | In this hands-on follow-up to CEAM-932, you’ll gain an insight into the design, construction and operation of both automotive cooling and lubrication systems. In the area of cooling systems, examine the principles of heat transfer, types of cooling systems, their components and purpose, coolant characteristics and cooling system testing and servicing. In the area of lubrication systems, cover friction, lubricants, oil and water pumps, system components and testing and servicing. Prerequisite: CEAM-932 or equivalent experience as determined by the department Note: Safety boots and safety goggles must be worn in the lab areas. You will be denied access to labs if you are dressed inappropriately. |
