Description | This course covers ignition system operation and function of the latest components of electronic ignition systems. You will become familiar with testing and diagnosis of ignition systems, including scope pattern interpretations with a line by line breakdown of various patterns. Discrete component testing, such as modules and Hall Effect switches, are demonstrated using concepts presented in the Automotive Electrical Module. Prerequisite: A valid Automotive Service Technician or Truck & Coach Technician Certificate of Qualification Note: Safety boots and safety goggles must be worn in the lab areas. You will be denied access to labs if you are dressed inappropriately. |
