| Description | This theory-based course prepares uncertified tradespeople to write the Ontario Automotive Service Technician Certificate of Qualification exam. Using the apprenticeship curriculum as a guideline, review steering, suspension and brakes, gear trains, engine systems (e.g., cooling, lubrication, etc.), electrical/electronics, fuel systems and workplace practices and procedures. This is strictly an overview preparation course. It is not a replacement for the Ministry of Education and Training approved Automotive Service Technician Apprenticeship program. |
