| Description | This course will introduce the learner to terminology, facts and general principles related to electrical components and devices; including basic principles of direct current (DC) electricity, and alternating current (AC). The lab component of the course provides the student with the opportunity to apply the theoretical knowledge obtained during classroom activities to construct simple DC and AC circuits. The practical sessions will also familiarize students with the correct use and operation of the DMM (Digital Multimeter) and the oscilloscope to verify the correct operation of an electrical system. |
