| Description | Students who complete this course are prepared for college career programmes requiring knowledge of basic biological concepts. Emphasis is placed on understanding biological mechanisms and processes, rather than on simple memorization. Students are expected to do a considerable amount of reading and independent study outside scheduled class hours. |
