Description: This course addresses the fundamentals of how the body moves through the interaction between the muscular and skeletal systems. Basic principles of movement are examined as well as an investigation of how exercise effects the functioning of these systems. The topic of ergonomics and its importance for safe and proper body alignment while exercising and in everyday life, will also be discussed.
