Course Description:
An introduction to the principles of operation and the servicing techniques of brake systems and chassis components used on motorcycles, ATV’s and snowmobiles.
Course Learning Outcomes:
Upon successful completion of this course, the student will have reliably demonstrated the ability to:
• Identify and explain the basic components, purpose, function, types and application of brake systems.
• Demonstrate the dismantling, inspection, testing and reassembly of brake systems.
• Describe the history, purpose, function, types and application of chassis systems.
• Demonstrate the dismantling, inspection, testing and reassembly of chassis systems.
