Students learn the fundamental principles of business management and relate them to the construction 
industry. Learners will examine and discuss such topics as starting a new construction company, 
marketing strategies, business development, and the impact globalization will have on the industry. 
Basic business skills such as the understanding of elementary accounting & finance, the preparation of business plans and human resources management will be employed using case studies in the construction field.
