| Description | BUSN117 and BUSN118 together function as an equivalent to BUSN119, Fundamentals of Business. This course is an introduction to a broad range of business concepts, practices and theories relevant to today’s global business environment. Students will examine the interrelationship among functional areas of a business enterprise; specifically, human resources, operations management, marketing and sales, and accounting and finance. Students will develop an understanding of how these functional areas of business are impacted as the economy, technology, global competition, and consumer decision making continue to evolve. |
