| Description | A continuation of BFPE 210, the course exposes students to the basic ideas, concepts, theories, and practices relevant to the various functional areas of the business enterprise. Topics covered in the course include the nature of business, the environment of business, the free market economic system, the role of government in business, the global marketplace, ethics and social responsibility, forms of business organization, entrepreneurship and small business ventures, management and leadership, employee motivation, operations management, human resources management, marketing, accounting, financial management, and the deployment of information technology in the contemporary business enterprise. |
