| Description | This capstone course serves as the culmination of learning acquired throughout the program of study. It is designed for students to experience most or all of the program’s Vocational Learning Outcomes while demonstrating sufficient understanding and competency to achieve them. To succeed in this course, students will consider how the various courses in the program connect and relate to one another, and how to integrate their learning outcomes and conceptual frameworks to design and deliver a comprehensive Digital Engagement Strategy. To achieve these goals, in Part 1 of the course, students will complete a series of in-class formative sessions that strengthen and reinforce their knowledge base. In Part 2 of the course, students will be assigned to specific companies for a field experience. Working in teams and guided by their instructor, they will evaluate the overall marketing activities of the assigned company, and design and recommend a Digital Engagement Strategy that contributes to the company’s growth. Through this hands-on experience, the course helps students refine and strengthen their knowledge and competencies, preparing them to apply them effectively in the workplace. |
