In today’s competitive job market it’s important to differentiate oneself as distinct from the competition in order to effectively participate in the recruitment and selection process. In this course, students will identify their personality traits, skills, values and strengths in order to help build the language to communicate their personal brand as well as identify companies of interest. They will develop a job search strategy, create a targeted resume, participate in a mock job interview, and learn how to network effectively with potential employers as it relates to their career goals. Students will create a LinkedIn account to leverage social media to build a professional online presence in those portraits of their brand.
