Learning Maya modelling and animation software by actively beginning the animation process. Students explore a series of increasingly challenging core exercises, beginning with a bouncing ball and ending with advanced character animation excerpts. Students learn the essential software tools as well as the principles of animation, and integrate these skills to create naturalistic, expressive motion.
This course will be part of the semester 1 capstone project.
