| Description | This course is a continuation of CYWP 113 & CYWP 116 and is designed to examine specific mental health disorders of childhood, adolescence and young adulthood as part of a continuum of development. The student will explore the descriptions of behaviours, etiology and treatment planning with a focus on evidence based practice. An exploration of societal perspectives of abnormal behaviour and the ethical use of mental health terms and labels will be a theme throughout the course. Minimum C grade, Pre-requisites: Semester 1 & Semester 2 CYWP courses. |
