| Description | Circle of Care Academy is a series of seminars and workshops designed to provide students with meaningful inter‑ and/or intra‑professional learning experiences. Through this series, students will explore topics such as collaborative team‑based approach, scope of practice across professions, workplace wellness, social determinants of health, Indigenous health outcomes, cultural competency, conflict and change management, and collaborative and ethical decision‑making and more. Students will receive information on the current topics covered each term. Each session in the series includes structured activities that allow students to work directly with peers from other programs within the School and Faculty. By bringing students from multiple disciplines together, Circle of Care is designed to enrich their learning within their own field while fostering a deeper appreciation for the roles and contributions of other health and community professionals in the holistic, person‑centred care. |
