| Description | Students integrate theoretical approaches and critical thinking to collaborate with clients, families and members of the health care team to provide safe, therapeutic, culturally sensitive, and ethical care to diverse adult clients and families. Opportunities are provided for the acquisition of increasingly complex psychosocial and psychomotor skills in class, lab and simulation. Clinical experiences and simulations will facilitate increased proficiency in nursing practice. Please note: This course also requires 12 clinical hours/week. |
