| Description | In this course, students will learn the basic structure and components of Internet of Things (IoT) infrastructure and the role of virtualization in enhancing IoT solutions. Students will learn to follow data through various IoT components, understand functional components, and implement and troubleshoot cloud computing environments. Students will also learn the benefits and limitations of virtualization, data storage methods, and how cloud resources such as compute, network, and storage, are designed, deployed, and managed in IoT environments. Students will also have the opportunity to learn through "hands-on" labs, that will give students practical experience with cloud platforms, virtualization technologies and integrating cloud services with IoT components.
