| Description | In this course, students will complete an in-depth exploration of cloud security principles and risk management practices, equipping them with the knowledge and skills needed to protect cloud infrastructure and data from threats and vulnerabilities. Students will also examine key aspects of cloud security, including Identity and Access Management (IAM), encryption, compliance, and incident response. Students will delve into topics such as secure cloud architecture, threat modeling, security best practices for cloud providers like Amazon Web Services (AWS), Azure, and Google Cloud, and the implementation of security controls and monitoring tools. Emphasis will be placed on hands-on experience with security frameworks, compliance requirements, and risk assessment methodologies. Through practical exercises and real-world case studies, students will learn to identify, analyze, and mitigate security risks in cloud environments. By the end of the course, students will be proficient in developing and implementing comprehensive security strategies, preparing them for advanced roles in cloud security and risk management. |
