| Description | In System Scripting, students will select appropriate scripting tools to automate routine system tasks. In addition, they will apply scripts to automate routine tasks for computers and networking equipment. Students will learn how to design scripts to effectively perform complex computer systems tasks, including appropriate comments and documentation. Some of the topics include the use of scripting tools to: (a) perform local and remote system administration using system commands, and (b) access, connect, and communicate between networked systems using client-server sockets and their appropriate functions and methods. |
