Description | System Scripting builds on the content of the prerequisite course, Introduction to Programming, to deliver content about scripting tools. Students will learn how to design a script with comments and documentation and how to suitably perform a complex computer system administration task. Students will learn how to select relevant scripting tools to automate system routine tasks and will apply scripts to automate routine tasks for computers and networking equipment. Students will learn the use of scripting tools to do a local and remote systems administration using system commands. They will also develop scripts to access, connect and communicate between two networked systems using sockets and their appropriate functions and methods. |
