Lecture:
This course builds on the Private Pilot knowledge, enhancing the trainee’s comprehension and application of knowledge to the Commercial Pilot standard – and introducing advanced VFR navigation, flight operations, avionics and systems and basic two-crew operations, using Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Crew Resource Management (CRM) skills are developed, including conflict resolution, workload management, situational awareness, communication and decision-making through scenario-based training sessions.
Lab: (VFR navigation and Night training)
Activities are designed to build the trainees experience and VFR navigation skills to a commercial pilot proficiency level. Night flying and basic two-crew operations using SOPs is introduced.
