Transmission of information highly relies on the communication networks. This course presents the various components of the communication networks such as transmitter, receiver, medium, and protocols along with advance topics and detailed communication network architecture. The objective of this course is to provide students with the big picture of a communication network. Having a top-down network design knowledge helps students to understand the interconnectivity of different parts of the network.
