| Description | This course introduces basic principles of effective oral communication. Upon successful completion, you should possess a thorough understanding of communication, how self-concept and perception affect communication, how listening impacts the message, and the power of non-verbal communication. You will become aware of the various techniques that can be implemented in dealing with difficult people or clients, negotiating and persuading. Finally, you will be able to research, compose, and deliver both formal and informal presentations. (materials fee included; textbook extra) |
