| Description | Communication Skills is a full-semester course designed for intermediate English language learners. Divided into two parts (Part A: Weeks 1–7 and Part B: Weeks 8–14), this course builds oral and aural fluency through project-based tasks and interaction. In Part A (Animals; Customs and Traditions), learners will engage in discussions and deliver a short informative presentation about a cultural tradition. In Part B (Discovery and Invention; Health and Fitness), students will practice explaining processes and expressing opinions through a structured presentation. Students will apply effective note-taking strategies during listening activities, participate actively in group discussions and build confidence in their oral communication skills. To connect classroom learning with real-world practice, students will participate in experiential field trips, providing authentic opportunities to use English in community settings. |
