| Description | This semester-long course helps to illuminate the opportunities and challenges of community arts work. Students will learn about the history of community arts, with a particular emphasis on international models for community engagement through the arts. They will understand how to employ the creative arts to share the story of a community, and how to assist in collaborative strategic development in partnership with other organizations and institutions. Students will also research or work in their own community through visits to active community arts projects. |
