Description

Communities in Ontario contain a variety of exciting and essential services that respond to the needs of families and children. Students will explore a range of career opportunities offered in the Community Service and Child Studies fields and gain insight into the scope of these careers, including key benefits and challenges.  As part of experiential learning, students will engage in peer mentorship, which provides further insight into the skills and attitudes required to work in their chosen fields. Students will explore personal values, beliefs, and attitudes for working in the Community and Child Studies fields throughout the course.
