| Description | This combined theory and practical lab provides the pharmacy technician student with exposure to advanced non-sterile compounding. Students will learn and practice the various techniques necessary in product manipulation and preparation of hazardous non-sterile compounds and non-sterile specialty compounds according to the guidelines established by The National Association of Pharmacy Regulatory Authorities (NAPRA). Opportunities will be provided for the development of proficiency through, weekly knowledge checks, quizzes, practical assessments, case studies, independent double checks and peer assessments. |
