| Description | This course is offered in the 1st semester of the common Electronics Engineering programs. PC hardware will introduce students to basics of a Personal Computer. Students will install, configure and troubleshoot hardware in a ‘sandbox’. This ‘hands-on’ course will provide students will a physical knowledge of how the various computer devices are connected together. The course will provide an overview of the present day PC architectures. Students will have sufficient knowledge to assemble and cost effectively source their own computer components, to upgrade and/or assemble their PC. |
