This course is designed to provide an appreciation of how network technologies are applied to the health care industry. It introduces basic concepts of networking technology concentrating on aspect such as security, mobility, and remote access which are especially relevant to the health care sector. It considers the importance of these technologies not only for health care facilities but also how they are applied in home health care.
