Description
This course is intended to develop Personal Computer operating system knowledge and acquire practical "hands-on" skills. This theory and lab course uses IBM PC compatible computers to achieve this goal. The technical concepts and terminology of several PC operating systems (Windows 9x and Windows 2000 Professional) are developed in detail. This course contains a very high lab content. Students learn how to install, configuring and maintain these operating systems. Upon successful completion of this course, the student can apply the acquired knowledge towards completing the "A Plus Certification" operating system component accreditation from the Computing Technology Industry Association (comptia.org).
