| Description | This course introduces the electronics student to the basic usage of a microcomputer (Intel-based PC), its operating system (MS Windows) and general-purpose applications (MS Office); concentrating on the operating skills needed in the engineering field. The student will acquire skills such as file management in the multitasking graphic user interface environment, creation of technical reports with combination of text and graphics, calculations and charting of electronic quantities, communication through e-mail, and technical information search through the Internet.
