| Description | This course will expose students to concept design techniques and processes used in the entertainment industry. The overarching themes of the course will be ideation of story points that have specific mood and feel needed in storytelling. Focus will be given on development of shape language and how it it influences audiences psychologically. Students will learn how to collect, extract and modify photo reference images and use them as a jumping board for their final designs. Basic light, colour and composition theory will be covered to flesh out story ideas. |
