Description

The course will develop students’ awareness and understanding of the importance of maintaining an ethical approach in the construction industry. Learners will explore and debate a wide range of topics including the following:

  • Ethical issues arising in a contemporary professional and business setting; 
  • Representative ethical systems, concepts and their application to actual situations; 
  • Ethical issues in a market driven economy; 
  • Conflicts of interest, and distinction between legal and ethical concerns.
  • Students will identify representative codes of ethics and comparatively evaluate their goals
