Description

In this introductory control systems course, students will learn the fundamentals of control systems with an emphasis on stability, robustness, and adaptability. In order to provide for a solid foundation in concepts and understanding crucial to control, the course will focus on single-input-single-output systems (SISO), how the stability of such systems can be analyzed, together with the effects of compensation. Foundations will be extended through practical examples; such as illustrating how appropriate use of control is instrumental in achieving 'Green' initiatives.
