Course CodeTHEA-410
Lecture hours per week
Lab hours per week
Course AvailabilityOpen
Description

This course provides students with the opportunity to produce their own community-engaged theatre company.  Through a mentoring system, upper-level students create theatre projects and build relationships with first and second year students in order to realize these projects, building on skills developed in THEA-310 and THEA-400.  Emphasis is placed on engaging with the wider community to develop works for the theatre.  All the entrepreneurial, creative and theatrical skills developed in other classes will be put to practical use in this class where students are mentored through the process of taking ownership of their independent production.
