| Description | This course will explore crisis management as it relates to different scenarios in the field, particularly when working on the front line. This course builds on skills that have been developed in first semester courses by applying them to different crisis scenarios. Learners will further engage in developing skills with an importance on relationship building as a tool to decrease crises. An emphasis on professional development and assessment will support learners to work towards continuous learning related to crisis management. Learners will examine and critically reflect upon the historical and current harms within the field. Learner participation as a tool for learning is embedded throughout the course. |
