Description

In this course, students will acquire the art of critical thinking by analyzing, evaluating, and formulating various arguments. In effect, students will become better thinkers, effective problem-solvers, and mature citizens. To achieve these goals, the course is also designed to teach students how to think critically in everyday contexts: personal, academic, professional, and as related to specific local and global challenges we face today in the following fields, contexts, and topics: healthcare, law, ethics, scientific theory, climate change, pseudo-science, conspiracy theory, advertising, media, social media, racism, fake news, creativity, and more.
