Description | Critical Thinking, Writing, and Research, is designed to help students develop their abilities to analyze, interpret, and articulate ideas effectively within the criminal justice context. The course will cover logical reasoning, argument construction, scholarly research methodologies, and academic writing skills tailored to justice-related topics. Emphasis will be placed on evaluating sources, synthesizing information, and selecting the appropriate research methodology to explore issues of interest in the community and justice field. To gain these skills, students will engage in practical exercises such as case analyses, policy reviews, and structured debates, reinforcing their capacity to approach issues from multiple perspectives.
