| Description | This course will expose students to the cultural diversity of many residents who will eventually be their clients. In this course, we will explore multiculturalism and the different needs of cultural groups. We will explore stereotypes and their implications in the context of the interrelatedness of race, gender, class, and sexual orientation in society. We will investigate the philosophy and practices in organizations offering recreational services in order to meet the needs of each of the groups and services and create our own philosophy thereof. |
