Organizations today are becoming more customer focused than ever before, and providing customers with excellent service is often considered a competitive strategy. This course teaches a macro view of what customer service involves today and may involve in the future. In addition, the course focuses on specific skills for success, customer service in a diverse world, customer service via technology, building and maintaining customer relationships, and encouraging customer loyalty. Students develop the ability to provide excellent customer service by creating positive experiences for clients and handling challenging situations. They also develop an understanding of the contribution of customer service to the success of an organization.
