| Description | This course will develop skills and knowledge for computer forensics and investigation. Students will acquire practical “hands-on” skills in addition to a solid theoretical knowledge of computer forensics. This theory and lab-based course incorporates current methodologies and tools such as Access Data’s Forensic Toolkit, FTK Imager, ProDiscover Basic, AccessData Registry Viewer, and Autopsy. The technical concepts and terminologies learned will aid in preparing and conducting investigations. In the labs, installation, configuration and use of the tools for forensic investigations will be learned.
