Description | In this course, students will learn to navigate the landscape of popular dashboard development tools and platforms like Tableau, Power BI, and others, empowering them to create interactive and dynamic dashboards that convey information effectively. Students will explore how the use of color, layout, typography, and interactive elements can enhance data comprehension and user engagement, enabling you to design visually appealing and user-friendly dashboards. Students will learn how to tailor dashboard design to different audiences, ensuring that data insights are effectively communicated to users and stakeholders. Additionally, students will acquire the skills to design both interactive and static narrative visualizations that enable users to engage with the data story, creating a more immersive experience. Students will learn the transformation and structuring of data for optimal use in dashboarding tools, ensuring that their dashboards are built on a solid data foundation. Lastly, students will learn to recognize the limitations of available datasets, enabling them to innovate solutions and communicate effectively with stakeholders to achieve their dashboard design goals. |
