| Description | The course focuses on the need for organizations of all sizes to develop robust relational database management systems (RDBMS), which enable them to create and manage data effectively for information and management decision-making and to provide access to selected data on the Internet. The phased-methodology of systems development and database life cycles, done in the context of the business needs and users’ requirements, is employed in the process of database systems modeling and design. Participants will be introduced to simple and more complex SQL queries in an Oracle environment. The course will also build on critical synergies that occur with other courses in the E-commerce program. |
