| Description | Urbanization is a recognized trend throughout the would - within the next 50 or so years nearly 85% of the global population will be living in cities. Toronto is currently experiencing unprecedented growth fueling development. The GTA population is projected to grow by over 1M people within the next 25 years. In order to provide varied housing opportunities, places to work, and locals for commerce, for this influx, development projects will need to be denser, vertical, and mixed-use. Students will investigate and synthesize several facility uses within the scope of a single multi-use building project. The uses will include:
Students will work individually to develop both Design and Construction Documentation of the multi-use building project. The work this Course is considered as representative of the Program Cap-stone Project. Prerequisites
