| Description | Working in groups, students will receive a department-approved challenge that will be expressed as a problem needing a solution. Based on skills and knowledge built during the first four semesters of the program, students will design and build a viable solution for the problem. Milestones are set to encourage students toward refining their design through several stages from initial concept to completed prototype solution. The completed project will be presented to an audience of peers and college faculty. All student groups in the course will work from the same design concept, and each group’s final prototype will be evaluated alongside those of other groups. |
