| Description | This is the first part of a two-semester project course. Working in groups, the student will select a department-approved challenge that will be expressed as a problem needing a solution. Drawing on skills and knowledge built during the first four semesters of the program, the students will design a viable solution for the problem. Project management techniques will be taught during theory classes so that students will be able keep their project under control. Milestones are set to encourage students toward refining their design through several stages from initial concept to completed design. The completed design will be presented to an audience of peers and College faculty from several departments. |
