| Description | This course will examine, identify, and describe child and adolescent development from a chronological perspective, beginning with conception to the periods of infancy, childhood and adolescence. Specifically, emphasis will be on developmental tasks and needs in relation to the physical, cognitive, moral and social-emotional domains of holistic development. Emotional and behavioural difficulties that may arise due to interruptions of the normal developmental process will be examined.
