| Description | This one-day workshop for RNs and RPNs will provide a practical approach to up-to-date management of diabetes. Topics include blood glucose monitoring, an update on insulin, insulin pens, hypoglycemia, hyperglycemia, current nutritional management and special needs of the elderly client. Discover practical tips to manage your client with diabetes. Watch demonstrations and practice sessions with blood glucose meters and insulin pens. Instruction will be provided by certified diabetes educators. |
