| Description | This course is intended to introduce students to the requirements of automation system maintenance and troubleshooting. Topics include workplace safety, an in-depth look at root cause analysis, the concept of total productive maintenance, principles of problem solving and troubleshooting procedures, preventative maintenance procedures, scheduling, and critical spare parts inventory concepts. Students are expected to attend industry visits outside scheduled class time as part of this course. |
